Krista Hawryluk is a full time photographer and artist. For most of her life, she tried not to be those things. It wasn't until after the birth of her first child and suffering from postpartum depression - she found photography and art as a creative outlet for her depression. She now creates minimalist line drawings and bold and powerful abstract artworks using mostly hand made organic inks and paints, inspired by the beauty of recurring lines, the female form, and nature.
